S and R Quail Farm – Hatchery began as Kennedy Game Farm in 1959 by Arnold Kennedy and his wife Verla. Arnold actually began raising quail in 1948 as a hobbyist and later formed KGF. He developed the “Kenwild” Bobwhite Quail in 1963 and is controlled today by the Kenwild Research Farm.

The genetics of Kenwild Bobwhite Quail makes these birds ideal for early release, restocking and hunting clubs. Today, Rhonda Kennedy Key (daughter of Verla and Arnold Kennedy) and husband, Scott, are co-owners of S and R Quail Farm – Hatchery and continue to produce quality Kenwild Bobwhite Quail. Together with our employees we have over 140 years of experience with Bobwhite Quail.
Bobwhite Quail Chicks Available
Currently, quail chicks are produced May-October by booked orders only. Our pick-up days are Tuesday and Wednesday. The quail chicks are started on food and water. They are 2-3 days old at the time of pick-up.
